Setbacks Podcast

It sucks when things go wrong, but as the old adage goes, “Everything will be alright in the end, so if it’s not alright then it’s not the end.” In this week’s session of The DancePreneuring Studio, I get personal by exposing some struggles that I’ve been through and the success principles that I am learning along the way.

Session Summary

  • Step to Success: Just as steps are necessary in a dance, there are steps to success in your life and business. In this segment, we discuss a step in the form of an app, a book, or a concept that will help you move forward.  Today’s step is RescueTime. This program runs in the background of your computer and gives you a summary of how you spend your time.
  • The Dancers’ Dialect: Dance terminology as it relates to life and business.  This week’s term is a ballet sequence called tombe pas de bouree.  Check out this video of this buy ciprofloxacin antibiotic step which is done across the floor, and is often a preliminary sequence before bigger steps, such as a glissade into a grand jete.

  • New Segment (which I haven’t officially named yet): I’m calling it Freestyle for now and this is where I talk about anything, and it doesn’t necessarily have to do with dance or business. This week I talk about how much I love Asian Food : )
  • Feature Presentation: I share three areas where I have experienced setbacks, how I survived them, and the success lessons that I have learned that will hopefully encourage you.  I had two different conversations that got me thinking about when my Dad passed away, the career choices that I had made, and my struggle with my perception of social media.
