Jess Spinner, Creator of The Whole Dancer, on conquering perfectionism
Looks can be deceiving. What’s on the outside doesn’t always paint an accurate picture of what’s on the inside. Such is the case of dancers who look like they have the “perfect” body on the outside, but inside they are crying for help to overcome body image issues. In addition, there are those of us, like myself, who never fit the stereotype of what a dancer should look like. Don’t despair, there is hope. Enter the lovely Jess Spinner, creator of The Whole Dancer, who offers valuable support and resources to any dancer who’s struggling with unnecessary body image challenges.
