Customer Service At Its Best: 5 Tips To Be Helpful and Memorable

I absolutely love and appreciate when I get great service.

Whether it is at a restaurant or over the phone, it makes me very happy to get excellent service.

On the other hand, I have to be forgiving when I get bad service. Customer Service

Not always easy to do.

I bring this up because I was just in the process of hoping to transfer several of my domains for renewal to another company.

Mission not accomplished.

After four department transfers over the phone because no one knew the answer to my question, the conversation ended rudely with instructions to go do it myself.

Helpful? Not really.

Memorable? Yes, but not in the best way.

No matter what type of business you run or job that you have, your goal should be excellent service.

How do you deliver that? Here are 5 quick cipro online order tips for customer service at its best:

  1. Be friendly. Set the tone with a positive mood in the beginning so your customer feels at ease.
  2. Be attentive to the conversation. Listen to what your customer is saying so you know how to best assist them.
  3. If you don’t know the answer, tell them politely that you will help them get to the right person or department.
  4. If they are upset with something, kindly apologize, even if it’s not your fault.
  5. If applicable, send a Thank You card or a quick note following up on the conversation.

Be purposeful with the above tips and you will improve your customer relations.

What tips do you have for better customer service within your business or job? I would love to hear your feedback.
