Forgiveness and Faith

…”Forgiveness, even if you don’t love me anymore…”

Partial lyrics to a song called “Heart of the Matter” by Don Henley.

This song came to mind as I was reflecting on two people in my life that are exemplary in the areas of forgiveness and faith.

These two people are my son and one of my best friends.

My son is constantly speaking faith over me and situations that come up.  He reminds me to keep focused on the truth of God’s Word. He chooses to see things positively.

My son speaks boldly even when I speak doubt.

I think most kids demonstrate great faith. We can learn a lot from our kids.

My friend who I will order tramadol ultram online call “Samantha,” is one of the most forgiving people that I know.

I’ve known her for over two decades and she is still the kind-hearted, giving and forgiving person she was when I first met her.

Even when her heart is broken and hurting, she continues to give and sow goodness to those around her. And despite how others have treated her, she still has faith to see beyond their actions and treat them with kindness and respect.

Heart of the Matter

She goes beyond the model of “The Golden Rule.”

Who are the people in your life that demonstrate great forgiveness and faith? I would love to hear your comments.
