5 Things That Lead Me To War

Two kids are ready to fight and knock each other out.

And they’re being cheered on to do so.

What?

UFC for kids?

I think not.

But it was kind of like that.

The cheers and shouting were loud for both participants, however, the kids were hardly fighting.

They were hesitant.

Careful.

Timid.

It was interesting to watch.

Observing this short scenario turned into a very important life and business lesson for me.

I was recently at a place called Big Air, a trampoline park for kids and adults, and the game that I witnessed was called “The Battle Beam.”

The goal of this game is to face your opponent on a balance beam and knock him or her off of it with a cylindrical stick into a pit of fluffy styrofoam pieces.

As each person stepped onto the beam, they walked forward very carefully and hesitantly.

When the referee blew his whistle to start, each person walked toward one another very, very slowly.

They were more tramadol online no prescription concerned about balancing themselves on the beam.

They were just too careful.

Because they were more afraid of falling off the beam than knocking off their opponent, they didn’t give the game their best shot.

And before they gave it their best shot, the whistle was blown again and the game was over.

I am not for war in the physical sense, but I declare war.

  • I declare war on the fears that hold us back from pursuing what we are called to do.
  • I declare war on questioning our destiny and striving toward excellence in our lives.
  • I declare war on confusion and hesitation.
  • I declare war on lies of the enemy
  • I declare war on the comparison game and fear of failure.

This war is necessary and inevitable for you to fight. You cannot avoid it.

So embrace it with full steam ahead.

Knowing that God is on your side and you can win.

What are you fighting for? I would love to hear of your victories.
