Mistaken Identity

Isn’t it interesting the topics of conversation that come up?

Today some of them for me ranged from kombucha flavors, dancing styles, wheat and sugar restrictions, and desperate women.

And with desperate women comes mistaken identity.Confused

Women who don’t know who they are think their identity comes from the following:

  • They think their identity is their marital status or lack thereof.
  • They think their identity is the amount of money or trinkets they possess.
  • They think their identity is their title or position.
  • They think their identity needs to be validated by other people.
  • They think their identity comes from good deeds and recognition.

Are these bad?

No.

But if the focus is on them buy cipro antibiotic online validating your worth, you’re mistaken.

How do you know that you’re focusing on these too much?

  • Being desperate to get a companion or spouse.
  • Spending carelessly or living beyond your means.
  • Talking mostly about yourself and your achievements as opposed to listening to the other person.
  • Constantly looking for approval from others.
  • Doing good deeds for recognition.

I admit that I have done all of the above. Several times.

Haven’t I learned?

Yes, and I continue to learn and improve.

I continue to make progress despite the fact that I will never be perfect.

What advice would you give to those who are struggling with these things? I would love to hear your comments.
