The Beauty in Brokenness

But beautiful.

There is beauty in brokenness.

I have a friend who is an amazing photographer.  She takes great pictures of people, places and objects all around her.

As she casually walked the streets of Seattle on one of her vacations, she noticed a broken window.

Snap, she captured that moment.Broken Glass

I took this photo of the original she had so graciously given me, so it doesn’t do it justice, buy generic cipro online however, it can still illustrate a very important point.

See the beauty in broken things and learn something from them.

When I look at this, the various vertical lines represent struggles, disappointments and bad decisions.

The horizontal “threads” remind me that God works all things together for our good.

What do you see in broken things such as this? I would love to get your perspective.

Thank you Paula! There is beauty in so many things and we can miss it if we are not paying attention.

For me, it captures a time of darkness and fear. A tangled web where you are stuck, drowning- a bad relationship, an addiction, an affair. But within that time you can find yourself if you can slip thru those cracks and reach the surface again. There is a beauty in this because it’s truth and life and life isn’t always wonderful but it can teach us things we would have never learned unless going through the disappointments, bad decisions and struggles 🙂

Thank you for your feedback Ashley. I love how you described this tangled web and affirming that we always learn something from these undesirable things that can happen.
