Is It Too Late To Apologize?

I’ve had to apologize.

A lot!

Yesterday and today, several times.

So no, I don’t think it’s too late.

I responded very defensively to a comment by a friend that was made to my husband yesterday about a book that he co-authored recently.

And it was my fault because I completely misunderstood the context of the remarks.

So I apologized.

Not immediately, but I did, and the response was encouraging and positive.

Today, my tone of voice and hurried agenda hurt my son and made him cry.Crying

So much so that he asked his dad if they tramadol online with no prescription could check into a hotel until my meanness subsided.

I had to laugh but more importantly, I had to take a step back and assess how my actions were affecting my family.

Apologies, hugs and affirmation soon followed.

All is well again at Casa de Hueso. (Spanish for House of Bone–fun play on words for our last name 🙂

Lesson for me: It’s never too late to apologize, but sooner than later is better.

Is it easy for you to apologize? I would love to hear your feedback on this topic.
